The economic bust up hit everyone but, let’s face it: the poor (literally) North American art school kids living in a foreign country with no funding to pay for school took a real blow.

Or maybe that’s just me and my Canadian housemate.

I would love to reacquaint myself with the likes of sketchbooks, paints, scissors and co. but, working a 9 to 5 doesn’t allow for such rendezvous.

I miss univesity and that was the sole purpose of this winge.

All of my galleries and some of my image posts have been wiped out. I’m not even sure how I managed to do this. Grr. It’s ok. I think It will just take some work and time to fix it. On a happier note, I got some pictures I took on disposable cameras developed. My friend showed me an awesome photo lab here in New York.

I stumbled upon a Flickr user called iri5 on an illustration site. His stuff is a lot like Vik Muniz but, still really cool. I particularly like the Ghost in the Machine series.
